Student Assistant – EE 478(Fall 2022)

It was during the last semester of my Master’s program that I got the wonderful opportunity to be an SA under Dr Christopher Fritz for his course HDL based digital design(EE 478). As an SA I was responsible for evaluation of undergraduate students in VHDL hardware programming lab experiments involving design of complex digital circuits and subsequent grading. The labs included designing adder circuits, ALU unit, sequential circuits and state machines with audio and video outputs.

Helping the students with the lab assignments have helped reinforce in me, a lot of fundamental concepts in digital design and HDL programming using VHDL Programming Language. It has also helped me view the same problem from multiple perspectives, develop patience and enhance my mentoring ability.
